  • Owned Artifactory, Bitbucket, Subversion, Perforce and broader developer infrastructure across Citadel and Citadel Securities; expanded the service portfolio while reducing the operating requirement from 3 engineers to 1 through standardisation and automation, with services reaching 6,000 users at 99.98%+ availability.
  • Cut ~$450k in annual operating costs through Artifactory garbage-collection tuning, Perforce cloud migration and decommissioning, and infrastructure and tool consolidation.
  • Built a low-latency, concurrent system capturing Bitbucket commits and enriching them with file metadata, publishing events ingested by build systems to enforce InfoSec approvals and restrictions at the SHA level.
  • Eliminated recurring Artifactory and Bitbucket outages and concurrency issues, using OTEL telemetry and stack traces to trace failures through Java source code and propose fixes to vendors.
  • Led OSS licence and vulnerability controls for third-party artifacts, helping protect against multiple software supply-chain attacks, including Shai-Hulud; replaced weeks-long manual approvals with instant access for policy-compliant packages while enforcing firm-wide licence restrictions, including AGPL.

  • Owned and developed a suite of Python Ansible modules used in firm-wide deployments, improving resilience and reducing operational support.
  • Built a self-service SDLC automation platform in React and Node.js, exposing engineering workflows through a web UI and REST API.

  • Built a trade-tracing system in Python, SQL and ServiceNow, automating end-to-end production investigations and eliminating manual workflows.
  • Led Python 3 migration and security remediation across 20+ legacy codebases, patching vulnerable OSS libraries and decommissioning obsolete systems across Java, Python and Perl.
